Commonly Asked Questions

Find out more about Master Skills Australia.

What if I don't have much evidence?

That’s exactly what this pathway is designed for. Your assessor will work with you to identify, capture and verify evidence from your real work activities to support your assessment.

Will I receive one-on-one support?

Yes. You’ll have direct support from an experienced assessor who will guide you through the evidence process and answer any questions along the way.

How long does the process take?

Timeframes vary depending on how quickly you can provide evidence and complete any required assessment activities. Many candidates finish within a few weeks.

Do I need to complete classes or training?

No formal classes are required for RPL. You are assessed based on your existing skills, knowledge, and real work experience.

What happens if there are gaps in my experience?

If small gaps are identified, your assessor will explain what is missing and provide simple options to help you demonstrate competency.
